HER UNFORGETTABLE ROYAL LOVER (Duchess Diaries)
by Merlin Lovelace
A sexy royal gets an amnesiac surprise in this tale from USA TODAY bestselling author Merline Lovelace…
Undercover agent Dominic St. Sebastian never expected to be dubbed a duke. The resulting media frenzy puts his name in the headlines and his undercover career on hold. And it’s all the fault of his cousin’s dowdy research assistant Natalie Clark, who dug up the information…then showed up on Dom’s doorstep with a case of amnesia!
So why is Dom suddenly finding her so unforgettable? Could it be that Natalie isn’t what she seems? One thing’s certain: their undeniable magnetism is about to take them on a royally wild ride!
Grand Duchess of Karlenburgh is determined to see her young family members married and settled. This time she has set her sites on her great-grandson Dominic St. Sebastian; secret agent man.
The woman she has in mind for Dom’s Grand Duchess is her great-granddaughter’s dowdy research assistant Natalie Clark.
The sparks fly and sexual tension builds. This fast paced story will keep you reading until the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will go back and read the ones I missed and look forward to the rest of the series.

I just finished SAY YES TO THE MARQUESS by Tessa Dare. I loved it. This one will make you stay up late reading. (personal experience). It was a delightful book. The hero is not your typical tall, dark, handsome and brooding. He’s more like an ADHD adult with great looks and a generous heart. The heroine has been waiting eight years for her intended to come home. Well, he’s finally on his way and she wants to call off the wedding. You won’t believe the antics that ensue when the hero tries to get her to change her mind. My favorite scene was the cake fight.

Well, I’ve been on this journey for about 6 weeks.
I’ve lost 8 pounds.
I bought a Wii, the dance mat and the Walk It Out Game. Today I did 334 steps. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you consider how sedentary I’ve been for the last few years you’ll know how far I’ve come.
Remember, tomorrow is Friday and Saturday is the UT game. Have a great week-end.

Well, I’ve been on this journey for a few days now. It is not as hard as I expected.
The hardest part is waiting 30 minutes after eating to drink my diet lemonade. I’m a sipper, not a gulper. I tend to drink all day long. Even drinking the 64 oz. a day is not too much problem.
I want to thank all the folks who have offered me encouragement and support.
For those of those who’ve asked, yes, I really want to do this. This isn’t my first time checking into the procedures. I got as far as the office consultation about 2 to 3 years ago. At that time I wasn’t sure I could do the follow up diet. Now, I am.
I know it won’t be easy, but I’m heavier now than I was then. My overall health is worse than then. I want to improve the quality of my life as well as maybe living longer.
Thank you Kathryn Falk for the following:
I AM LOSING WEIGHT.
I AM STAYING ON 1200 CALORIE DIET.
I AM HEALTHY
I AM BEAUTIFUL

Yesterday I met with Dr. Stephen Boyce about my weight loss surgery. After much discussion we decided to do the sleeve.
So, today I started my 1200 calorie a day diet.
THIS WILL BE HARD!!!!!!
This is what I have to do:
1: begin vitamins
2. drink 64 oz of fluids that are sugar-free, caffeine free and calorie free.
3. decrease caffeine and carbonation
4. no drinking 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after a meal or snack.
5. plan meals and snacks that have no more than 1200 calories a day.
I have to do this for 6 months before I can have the surgery. I expect to have some days that are spectacular failures.
I will need all the encouragement and prayers I can get.

Do you know why churches have Wednesday night services?
This practice started during the recent unpleasantness with our northern neighbors or as the history books like to call it, The Civil War.
Those left at home needed contact with other in the same situation and they decided to get together in the middle of the week to have a prayer service for all the menfolk off fighting in the warah (war to those of outside the south).
So, does your church still have a Wednesday night prayer service?

One Good Earl Deserves A Lover
The Lass Wore Black
All of them were reading. Beverly Jenkins book was exceptional.
I’m giving away a copy of this book. Please, leave a comment to be in the drawing. The winner will be drawn on Friday at noon.
The Lass Wore Black was a dark story.
One Good Earl was a fun read.
I’m sorry these reviews aren’t full reviews. I’m in my 3rd week of illness, and had more tests today. I hope to be back to my normal self soon.
